Los mentioned some exclusive material off his mixtape, Becoming King, on Twitter. King Los said he wrote a song called “My Hightop Nikes” that will be on the upcoming Becoming King mixtape. Swagga Boy Los tweeted he wrote the song about his journey in life from starting in the projects to ending up in private jets, in other words: The King Life. With this new title, that confirms 3 track names out of 17 to 20 tracks on Becoming King. This includes, Born A King, Dope and now My Hightop Nikes. With the delay of the mixtape, Bad Boy Los goes on to give us another little sneak peek into the greatest mixtape ever. He also mentioned on Twitter that he will release a freestyle of the fan’s choice, so get to tweeting!!! Stay tuned for the latest updates on the upcoming tape.
As you all may know, Los‘ mixtape, Becoming King, was supposed to drop today, but due to some sample clearance issues the mixtape has been postponed. King Los obviously doesn’t want to take any chances with any lawsuits from anyone, therefore he has chosen to wait for all the samples to be cleared. Bad Boy Los is really making sure all the i’s are dotted and all the t’s are crossed for his new project, since it’s all original, so he doesn’t end up in a situation like Mac Miller. All we can do now is sit back and wait for all the legal beagles to sort it out. Don’t worry though, I’m sure the delay won’t be as long as you think it will be. In the meantime, check out some of the Becoming King mixtape details, such as features, producers and tracks. Also, stay tuned to B’more Los for updates: the new release date, artwork and tracklist for Swagga Boy Los‘ Becoming King mixtape.
A few days ago on November 25th, Los attended LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida for the celebration of DJ Khaled‘s 37th birthday. It was one of the most epic hip-hop nights Miami has ever seen. Diddy walked in with King Los and French Montana and they were joined on stage by a lot of other mainstream artists and special guests at the club. Including Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Birdman, Mack Maine, Fat Joe, Scott Disick, Ace Hood, Busta Rhymes, Mavado, Timbaland and more. The legends of hip-hop took turns dropping their top chart singles and showing DJ Khaled great respect and a great time, making for an unforgettable night.
After the jump, you can view plenty more pictures, watch some front row footage of Diddy performing his remix to “O Let’s Do It” and “Same Damn Time” and also check out Weezy and Kanye along with others performing live as well. By the way, King Los is rocking the red Chicago Bulls fitted, a grey sweater, a gold chain and jeans if you can’t find him.
Bad Boy just let go the official music video of Ocho Cinco by French Montana featuring Los, Diddy, Red Cafe & MGK. The track appeared on French Montana’s mixtape, Mac & Cheese 3. This is actually pretty quick for a music video to drop considering the track was just released a few days ago. I guess Bad Boy is doing work! Don’t forget to check out the lyrics to Ocho Cinco if you haven’t already. King Los‘ Becoming King dropping tomorrow!!!
Chris Latouche, Diddy’s personal director, just mentioned on Twitter that he is working on some new King Los videos. There were no details of what the videos would be on. Although, it could be a video on one of Los’ newest songs. Maybe it could be a music video of a song off Becoming King. Stay tuned to find out!
